Updates and Chess

I haven't written anything here in a bit, but it's time. Rajen and I have problems as friends, but I wont be his enemy or rival, so we'll avoid each other mostly it seems.
this of course, means my readership is down to... well no one really.
Whatever.
Anyway.
Caz and I started playing a game of chess, correspondence chess Via Twitter.
here's the board as it stands :
It's a fun game actually.
I'll be updating with new moves every time the board changes majorly, and you can see my moves on the mini feed. And the question, of course, is "why chess?" well for ages people have played chess through correspondence, finding a friend hundreds of miles away and sending tiny messages like, Knight F5 to G 7 and such, but with the internet, it's become the providence mostly of those too old and crotchety to give up their ways. I'm not great at chess, and neither is Caz, but this is an interesting uniting of the old and new, of an old message, sent through new means, preserved in bits and bytes rather then on paper and graphite.
That and we found the unicode characters and thought "cool you could play chess with these, hey, let's try it." But that story doesn't sound nearly as meaningful.

sorry the board came out so strangely, but there's nothing i can do for now. I'll find a way around it.

In unrelated news, I cleaned my room. and house, and kitchen, and library, and even the bathrooms and balcony and well everything really. Even cleaned out my closet, which was cluttered with clothes and underwear I don't even touch anymore, so now the guest room is... a little bit of a mess, but not too much, I'll tidy that up eventually though. It's not clothes that are a problem there, I put them away well enough, it's just the bedding, so it's solvable.
